Madeleine King
Newsletter Product ManagerAs the newsletter product manager, Madeleine (she/her) coordinates and writes for Iowa Public Radio’s newsletter portfolio, including The Daily Digest and Political Sense. Madeleine worked at IPR in various roles before assuming her current position on IPR’s digital team. Before joining IPR full-time, Madeleine worked as a bartender and is to this day very grateful for the lessons provided by working in the service industry.
Madeleine has her degree in Journalism from Iowa State University, where she focused on photojournalism. In her free time, she enjoys long bike rides in the summer, finding new books to read and nerding out about cameras.
Have a story of someone helping their community or a small moment that brought you needed joy? Tell Madeleine about it for the Daily Digest’s Sunny Side at mking@iowapublicradio.org
