Members of the Otoe-Missouria Tribe are crossing the Midwest on a tour of ancestral sites. The 11-day journey brought them across Iowa and included a stop in Decorah, where they met with a researcher of the tribe’s native language.

They each share about their love of space exploration — whether lifelong or found on the job — and what their roles were in the preparation and execution of Artemis II. -
The deadline for Iowans impacted by historic flooding to apply for individual federal assistance from FEMA ends soon. This includes 16 counties, mainly on the western side of the state, and Scott County in eastern Iowa.
