More Than the Birds and the Bees, Talking to Kids about #MeToo

Talking to kids about sex has long been a challenge for parents, and these conversations often focus solely on the prevention of pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.

Among the many realizations our society is coming to in the wake of #MeToo is the idea that we need to do a better job teaching young people how to have safe, healthy relationships.

On this episode of Unsettled: Mapping #MeToo, Charity Nebbe hosts a discussion about how to talk with children about sexual harassment, assault, and consent. They also talk about how these conversations may need to begin long before puberty.
