Four finalists to be the next president of the University of Iowa interviewed over the last couple of weeks in Iowa City. They're applying to replace current UI President Bruce Harreld, who is retiring after a five-year term.
The finalists in the order they were interviewed are:
- Hari Osofsky: the dean of the schools of law and international affairs at Penn State.
- Barbara Wilson: the second-in-command at the University of Illinois system.
- Wendy Hensel: chief academic officer at Georgia State University.
- Daniel Clay: University of Iowa dean of education.
The UI presidential search committee is meeting Wednesday to review the candidates, and the Board of Regents is expected to announce the new president on Friday.
