Handel and Ibert for recorder and guitar: Michala Petri (MIK-ah-lah PEH-tree) might be the best-known recorder player in the world. She plays concerts around the globe, and has expanded the instrument's repertoire and visibility through her 50 or so CDs. She's currently touring with Cuban-American guitarist Manuel Barrueco (bah-roo-AY-koh). We'll hear from their concert last week in suburban Atlanta. First, Handel's Sonata in F and then one of their encores, "Entr'acte" (ah(n)-TRAHKT) by Jacques Ibert (zhahk ee-bair). (ACA Digital Recording/Horton Systems Company) 14:00
