An Iowa-based think tank says the percentage of working-age men in the labor force is falling faster in Iowa than in the country as a whole. A special census says Ankeny has gained about 8,000 people since 2020. And, today is International Transgender Day of Visibility. Hundreds of people marked the day Saturday in Des Moines.
