State public health officials say Iowa’s overall vaccination rate keeps inching up but certain parts of the state are lagging behind. Republican Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks will move from her home in Ottumwa to run in Iowa’s newly redrawn 1st Congressional District. Plus, the Iowa Department of Public Health has recently started its search for a new state medical director.
