Bahena Rivera's trial is expected to last for about two weeks.

The trial for Cristhian Bahena Rivera begins Monday in Davenport. He's accused of killing University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts in 2018 while she was out for a run in her hometown of Brooklyn, Iowa.

Bahena Rivera faces a first degree murder charge in the death of 20-year-old Mollie Tibbetts. Her disappearance prompted a massive search and attracted national attention. The trial has been delayed and moved multiple times and the public won’t be allowed into the courtroom because of the coronavirus.
