IPR Morning Edition host Clay Masters talks about what happened last week in the Iowa legislature with IPR state government reporter Katarina Sostaric and what to expect this week.

The Iowa House and Senate have released their K-12 funding proposals, and the battle between Republicans and Democrats over adequate coronavirus mitigation protocols continues. The Senate has proposed a 2.2 percent increase and the House and governor have proposed a 2.5 percent increase in K-12 funding. That's in line with past couple of years.
