Programming Changes in Effect September 19

Programming changes

Due to the cancellation of American Public Media's Live from Here with Chris Thile and WBUR's Only a Game, we’ve made some changes to our weekend on-air programming lineup, as well as our 24-hour Studio One stream.

Beginning September 19, we’re excited to introduce Hidden Brain to the 6 a.m. Saturday timeslot on IPR News and News/Studio One. You’ll also hear a great stack of back-to-back storytelling shows on Saturday evenings on IPR News (AM stations and the IPR News online stream) beginning at 5 p.m. with The Moth Radio Hour, followed by Snap Judgement at 6 p.m., This American Life at 7 p.m. and Fresh Air Weekend at 8 p.m.

Beginning September 26 on IPR News/Studio One and on the Studio One stream, your Saturday soundtrack will include an extra two hours of music discovery on Studio One Tracks from 2-4 p.m. before Backtracks with Bob Dorr in a new timeslot from 4-7 p.m, and on Sundays hear an hour of Gas Money at 7 p.m. followed by Studio One Tracks at 8 p.m. On Mondays on the Studio One stream, catch a repeat of Gas Money and Studio One Tracks at the 7 a.m. hour.
