On Friday, August 23, at 2 PM at Iowa City's downtown Java House, IPR Studio One's Ben Kieffer will host a special hour of "Java Blend" with Raldo Schneider.
Ben Kieffer will chat with Raldo and his band to find out more about what they have been up to since their last appearance on the show, and the band will also perform a live 50-minute set. This program is free and open to the public!
Raldo is an old friend of the show. As a veteran Cedar Falls musician Raldo Schneider brings his signature country-folk with a jolt and a twang to the The Java House stage. A native of Bennett, Iowa, Schneider has recorded nine albums over the decades of his career. For the last 18 years he has performed throughout the state as Raldo and Friends with Rick Oltman on guitar, Roger Miller on steel guitar and Travis Smiley on bass.
