Well, at least Gonyea says he thinks he’s ready. “It was odd last year. You get stronger through the week. That makes no sense to me. Day 7 still scares me.”
Last year was Gonyea’s first year on RAGBRAI; he’s back again because he enjoyed it so much the first time around. During this River to River interview, Ben Kieffer talks with Gonyea, as well as Des Moines Register Reporter Kyle Munson.
