- Has recorded, mixed and produced audio for Iowa Public Radio for over three decades
- Has live recorded and done sound production for musicians and ensembles including the OK Factor with the wcfsymphony in Cedar Falls (in the round), Chicago Farmer and the Fieldnotes and Dickie from xBk in Des Moines, and Kaki King from the Temple Theater in Des Moines, among many, many others
- Has been twice inducted into the Iowa Rock and Roll Music Association Hall of Fame: in 2024 for his work with Iowa Public Radio and in 2007 with The Blue Band
- Served as mentor for Girls Rock Des Moines in October 2023
