Cellist Yo-Yo Ma brought an eclectic bunch of musicians from all over the world to NPR last May. All the players are members of what Ma calls the Silk Road Ensemble, and they play historic and traditional music that stretches from Asia to Europe. From their visit, we hear three pieces: "Chi passa per'sta strada," "Phantoum," and our own PT theme music, with a very special, unusual sound.
