Horticulture Day: Vegetables, Cover Crops, and Biochar

At this point in the summer last year, the garden challenge was dealing with hot and dry weather.  But at least recently, unseasonably cool weather has been the story. For Talk of Iowa's horticulture day we talk with Iowa State University Extension Vegetable Production Specialist Ajay Nair about his research on cover crops and composting.  ISU’s Richard Jauron will also be here answering questions about your lawn and garden.
