Residents in Cedar Rapids are getting another chance to weigh in on who will be the city’s next mayor. None of the candidates earned a majority of votes during city elections on Nov. 2, including the incumbent.
The runoff is between TrueNorth executive Amara Andrews and former TV journalist and nonprofit leader Tiffany O’Donnell. IPR Morning Edition host Clay Masters talks with IPR eastern Iowa reporter Kate Payne about the two campaigns and how the race is playing out.
