Soccer Moms, Football Dads

In Chicago, the presidential vote decidedly favored Al Gore but now Chicagoans are increasingly at odds over how much farther the Vice President should push to win the White House. NPR's David Welna spoke today with some Chicago voters as they dropped off their children at a public elementary school in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. In addition to "football dads" who voted for Bush he found "soccer moms" who voted for Gore and are deeply divided about what he should do.
