Michele Morano’s essay collection, “Like Love,” is filled with stories that are almost love stories.
She uses her memories, experiences and relationships to explore love and neighboring emotions in surprising and powerful ways.
Morano is the chair of the English Department at DePaul University in Chicago and earned her Ph.D. in English and a Master of Fine Arts in non-fiction writing from the University of Iowa.
