Homes have taken on a new definition during the pandemic as many families continue to work and learn from home virtually.

It’s been nearly a year of pandemic living for many of us in Iowa. For many families, the pandemic has meant a lot of time at home together. Parents working from home, kids going to school from home. That’s a lot of togetherness and a whole lot of dishes.

On this edition of Talk of Iowa, we’re going to talk about family dynamics in pandemic living and how the pandemic has changed our relationship with our homes.

Guests:

Barbara Dunn-Swanson, human sciences specialist, Iowa State University Extension

Dan Carlson, associate professor of family and consumer studies, University of Utah
