Brett Biebel joins Talk of Iowa to talk about “48 Blitz” – his debut collection of short stories that take place in Nebraska along the I-80 corridor.

On this edition of Talk of Iowa, host Charity Nebbe speaks with Brett Biebel about his book “48 Blitz.”

This is the debut collection from Biebel, who lives in the Quad Cities and teaches creative writing and composition at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. The stories take place in Nebraska towns, or rural areas, all within reach of I-80. They’re about short slices of life found in homes, on farms, football fields and fast food restaurants.
