An Update From COVID Recovery Iowa

It’s been a year since COVID-19 started spreading across the county.

While vaccines bring hope, questions, confusion and the pain of the pandemic hasn’t let up. For man,y it has meant lost loved ones and financial insecurity. For others, it has meant social isolation. For everyone, frustrations and disappointments continue.

On this edition of Talk of Iowa, host Charity Nebbe speaks with Jason Haglund and Margie Conrad to talk about COVID Recovery Iowa.

COVID Recovery Iowa is an organization that offers free virtual counseling and assistance to all Iowans affected by the pandemic and the August derecho. Haglund and Conrad also explain how the public can participate and celebrate with a social distance Valentine through Cupid Gram. The deadline to submit a request for a Valentine is Tuesday, February 9.
