The Awful Purdies, an Iowa City-based band, were making their fourth studio album when COVID-19 hit and the world closed down. They persevered and the album “The Great Unraveling” will hit streaming services on December 1, and be available on vinyl and CD on December 15.
In this interview, Talk of Iowa host Charity Nebbe learns more about the album from two of the band members and hears the story behind the music video "This Woman's Work."
