COVID-19 cases remain high in Iowa, and as the weather grows cooler, families are facing unique challenges when it comes to safely celebrating the upcoming holiday season.

On this episode of Talk of Iowa, host Charity Nebbe is joined by infectious disease expert Dr. Rossana Rosa of Unity Point Health in Des Moines to discuss dos and don’ts for maintaining health and safety in the coming holiday months as the coronavirus pandemic continues.

Also on the program, communication expert Sylvia Mikucki-Enyart offers tips for setting firm and fair boundaries during the holidays and University of Iowa assistant professor of counseling psychology Stacey McElroy-Heltzel discusses how to support and maintain mental health while supporting loved ones in the coming months.
