End-of-season lawn care is key to maintaining healthy turf year-round.

Leaves are falling and it’s almost time to put the mower away, but give yourself a minute. There’s still a bit more lawn care to tend to before closing up shop for the season.

On this episode of Talk of Iowa, host Charity Nebbe is joined by Adam Thoms, turf grass specialist with Iowa State University Extension for a guide to end-of-season lawn care.

Also, Aaron Steil, assistant director of Reiman Gardens in Ames joins the conversation to answer listener questions about lawns, landscapes and gardening.

Guests:
Adam Thoms, turf grass specialist, Iowa State University Extension
Aaron Steil, assistant director, Reiman Gardens
