Hannah Holman joined host Charity Nebbe in the Iowa City studios to speak about her YouTube series and perform

When cellist Hannah Holman began her YouTube series exploring the lives of female cellists throughout history, she did not anticipate getting many views or subscribers. Austin McConnell, a YouTuber with nearly one million subscribers, recently promoted Holman's channel in one of his videos, helping Holman develop a larger audience.

On this edition of Talk of Iowa, Holman talks with host Charity Nebbe about many of the female cellists in her videos, and her career as a cellist in the New York City Ballet and the principal cellist in the Quad City Symphony Orchestra.

Holman will be performing with the Iowa City Community String Orchestra on November 24 at the Englert Theatre.
