The summer travel season is right around the corner, and whether it's a family road trip in the region or a jetsetting destination halfway around the world, we all gather experiences and stories from our travels.
On this episode of Talk of Iowa, host Charity Nebbe joins five other Iowans for an evening of true travel stories in this live audience storytelling event at Merge in downtown Iowa City.
Storytellers include:

- Jaremy Mims, high school coach and mentor
- Jen Rowray, professional pet sitter
- Kraston Haasman, University of Iowa student
- Sara McGuirk, University of Iowa adjunct professor of writing and community outreach
This event took place on April 12 and was organized by Iowa Watch, the center for public affairs journalism, and The foundations of Event Management class at the University of Iowa.
