In this episode of River to River, host Ben Kieffer talks with political scientists Chris Larimer from University of Northern Iowa and Megan Goldberg from Cornell College about the reception that President Biden's $2.3 trillion infrastructure plan is receiving in Congress. GOP leaders, including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell have pledge to oppose the plan "every step of the way."
They also discuss the announcement that all adults will be eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine on April 19, the reaction by corporate America to restrictive voting laws in Georgia and efforts to add language to the Iowa Constitution that says it doesn't protect the right to abortion.
