A record number of Americans in battleground states have already voted a week before the election.

On this Politics Day edition of River to River, host Ben Kieffer speaks with political scientists Jim McCormick, of Iowa State University and Megan Goldberg, of Cornell College about the final campaign stops in the 2020 election and what they reveal about both Democratic and Republican strategies.

Also, a look at Congressional races, how hundreds of court battles over voter rights may shape election results and the possibility that polling numbers might be way off again.

Guests:

  • Megan Goldberg, assistant professor of American politics, Cornell College
  • Jim McCormick, professor of political science at Iowa State University
