America has been warned. Election night brings the possibility of a certified winner not being declared until days, or even weeks, after November 3.

On this edition of River to River, host Ben Kieffer speaks with acting special agent in charge Paula Ebersole about an alert issued from the FBI and Department of Homeland Security. Agent Ebersol explains how the lack of election results could open the door to fake news and disinformation from foreign actors on social media.

A fire alarm went off in the middle of this interview. It was later determined that the alarm was a mechanical malfunction, and there was no threat to the FBI office in Omaha, NE.
