Ashley Hinson Makes Case To Represent Iowa’s 1st District In Washington

State Rep. Ashley Hinson is running to unseat Rep. Abby Finkenauer in Iowa's 1st congressional district.

With the 2020 general election less than two months away, River to River continues its series of interviews with congressional candidates vying to represent Iowans on Capitol Hill.

Host Ben Kieffer is joined by State Representative Ashely Hinson. Hinson, a Republican who represented parts of Marion, Cedar Rapids and Hiawatha in the state legislature, hopes to unseat first term U.S. Representative Abby Finkenauer to represent Iowa’s 1st congressional district.
