Iowa Nice Guy Announces Run for Governor of Iowa

The Iowa Nice Guy says he’s running to represent the “Nice Party” of Iowa.

Scott Siepker, otherwise known as the “Iowa Nice Guy,” announced his run for governor of the state in a video published earlier this week. He says he’s running to annex Omaha, reel in campaign spending and correct the “misunderstanding about the importance of non-presidential elections.”

He says his intentions behind the video are really to motivate Iowans to get to the polls and vote. During this River to River interview, Siepker talks with host Ben Kieffer about the video and his “campaign.”
