AG Eric Holder Goes to Ferguson

President Barack Obama talks with Attorney General Eric Holder to discuss the situation in Ferguson, Mo.

Ongoing violence in Ferguson, Missouri is being viewed through a different lens overseas.  Much of the coverage reflects pre-existing views of the U.S.  Host Ben Kieffer talks with Jim McCormick, Professor of Political Science at Iowa State University and Bruce Nesmith, Joan and Abbott Lipsky Professor of Political Science at Coe College about the ongoing violence in Ferguson. They discuss the results of a recent Pew Research Pollthat finds stark divisions in how the situation in being perceived by race and by party.  They also preview an upcoming Iowa visit by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her husband former President Bill Clinton to attend this year's Harkin Steak Fry.  And we hear President Obama's remarks, delivered today, after a video showing journalist James Foley being executed by an Islamic State militant has been authenticated.
