Miller-Meeks: Troops Should Have Stayed in Iraq

Republican Candidate for Iowa’s second congressional district Dr. Marianette Miller-Meeks says a mishandling of the U.S.’ withdrawal from Iraq is to blame for the current crisis in the region.

Miller-Meeks criticizes the Obama administration for negotiating a status of forces agreement that did not maintain U.S. troop presence in Iraq.

Dr. Miller-Meeks is a 24 year veteran of the Army Reserves, an ophthalmologist and former Director of the Iowa Department of Public Health. You can hear the full interview with her from today's River to River below.
