The Iowa Composers Forum, dubbed ICF for short, is hosting their Fall Festival with a trio of concerts showcasing new music. A dozen composers are on the docket: Shawn Crouch, Elaine Erickson, Ben Hippen, Denise Knaack, Robert Martin, Jerry Owen, James Romig, Ray Songayllo, David Vayo, Randy Wells, Jonathan Wilson, and Alec Wood.

Performing musicians include Xin Gao on clarinet, Craig Hultgren on cello, pianists Ben Hippen, Brooke Joyce, Miko Kominami, and Ashlee Mack, along with mezzo-soprano Lisa Neher. The Porter House in Decorah, Quasqueton’s famous F.L. Wright Walter House, and Clermont’s Montauk Historic Site will serve as the unique program sites.

Several movements of the new work entitled Still composed by James Romig will open and close each concert.
