Programming Changes in Effect July 1

As we enter a new fiscal year, we’ve made some changes to our weekend programming lineup in addition to our 24-hour Studio One stream in order to better serve our audiences.

The changes are effective on July 1, 2020 and are as follows:

IPR News (AM only)
Saturday

  • The Moth Radio Hour will be replaced by Travel with Rick Steves at 1 p.m.
  • This American Life will be replaced by The Moth Radio Hour at 7 p.m.

Sunday

  • Live from Here will be replaced by Hidden Brain and This American Life from 12-2 p.m.
  • On the Media moves to 3 p.m.
  • Fresh Air Weekend can now be heard at 5 p.m.
  • On Being moves to 8 p.m.
  • TED Radio Hour will be replaced by Travel with Rick Steves at 7 p.m.

IPR Classical (FM)
Sunday

  • From The Top will be replaced with a repeat of Choral Tradition at 7 p.m.

IPR News/Studio One (FM)
Saturday

  • Jazz Department will be replaced with XPoNential Radio from 12 midnight to 6 a.m.

Studio One Stream
Monday-Friday

  • XPoNential Radio will replace all programming between 1-4 p.m. Monday-Friday, meaning from 12-7 p.m. you’ll hear exciting new tracks and old favorites from artists like Leon Bridges, Wilco, Bob Dylan and so many more.

Saturday

  • Jazz Department and Studio One Tracks will be replaced with XPoNential Radio from 12 midnight to 9 a.m.
  • The Folk Tree will now air from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Sunday

  • Jazz Department will be replaced with Mountain Stage from 7-9 a.m. and Backtracks from 9 a.m. to noon.
