Guest conductor Gerard Schwarz is world-renowned for his leadership at the Seattle Symphony and at Lincoln Center’s Mostly Mozart Festival. At the invitation of Maestro Joseph Giunta, Gerard Schwarz leads the orchestra in Brahms’ sweeping Symphony No. 4. Julian Schwarz, first-place winner of the Alice and Eleonore Schoenfeld International String Competition, joins the orchestra for a unique father-son collaboration performance of Shostakovich’s impassioned Cello Concerto No. 1.
