This Saturday, March 31st, Iowa Public Radio Classical’s Performance Iowa features the Quad City Symphony Orchestra’s performance of one of J.S. Bach’s grandest works, St. Matthew Passion. The QCSO is joined by 3 guest choirs as well as fabulous vocal soloists, two guest organists, and viola da gamba. The piece is one of two surviving Bach accounts of the final days of Jesus.
