On Thursday, May 17th at noon, IPR’s Performance Iowa will bring you a performance by the prolific Ying Quartet, live from Studio One! Cedar Valley Chamber Music’s Artistic Director and Founder, Hunter Capoccioni, will also make an appearance.
The Ying Quartet’s performances are part of a 4-day residency sponsored by Cedar Valley Chamber Music. The program consists of two major works by Antonín Dvořák, the famous String Quartet in F Major “American,” and the String Quartet in G Major, Op. 77. The culmination of the residency will be two concerts in Spillville on May 19th at 3:00pm at St. Wenceslaus Church and in Cedar Falls on May 20th at 2:00pm at First United Methodist Church.
