Science often runs in the family. And while the Albert Einstein we all know studied particle physics, his first son, Hans Albert Einstein, studied rivers.
Robert Ettema and Cornelia Mutel describe his work in their new book, "Hans Albert Einstein: His Life as a Pioneering Engineer." They say his research laid the foundation for our undersatnding of flowing water and sediment today. They also delve into the personal lives of the Einstein family.
Host Charity Nebbe talks with Ettema and Mutel on this hour of Talk of Iowa.
