Mollie B’s career began as a child with the Jim Busta Band and has continued throughout her life to include live performances nationwide and appearances on TV and on the movie screen.
Music was a large part of Mollie B’s life at home and at school growing up. She sang in her father’s band at age three, and joined on piano when she was eight. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Luther College and went on to earn her Masters from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota.
Mollie B joined “Squeezebox” in 2006 to showcase her many talents. Squeezebox is “one of the most popular and well-known bands specializing in live dance music and entertaining stage shows.” The band is head-lined by Mollie B herself and her husband, two-time Grammy Nominee, Ted Lange. Most recently, the band wrote a song for and appeared in the latest Clint Eastwood film, “The Mule.”
In 2011, Mollie B took on the position as host and co-producer of the “Mollie B Polka Party” on RFD-TV, which currently airs in over 55 million homes.
