A Mini-List of Iowa Choral Events in the Middle of March (as always, let me know what to add!)

Chorus America/ University of Iowa

In the last two months of 2018, Iowans gave 100 choral concerts (we listed them!). But if December is "peak choral," the singing returns in February and especially in March and April. We won’t create another “big list” of every event, but will try to keep you updated with brief, occasional posts. As usual, let me know what I’m missing! Here’s a start:

A native Iowan who earned all three of her degrees at the University of Iowa, she went on to international fame with, among other achievements, her work with the Atlanta Symphony chorus, and Boston University, whose choral programs she raised to national prominence as its Director of Choral ctivities. She was assistant to Robert Shaw, the subject of this documentary to be shown at Voxman Music Building Auditorium.
