"I think we will be fighting ISIS a year from now"

In a prime time address on Wednesday, President Obama will announce how the U.S. plans to confront the threat from the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

"[President Obama] has to indicate that he has support from European allies and from Middle Eastern states as well," says Jim McCormick.

Richard Mansbach analyze the level of support the president has from Congress and from the American people for military action against ISIS.

"I don't think you'll get too sophisticated a response from Obama," says Richard Mansbach. "Two days ago, he didn't have a strategy."
