Host Ben Kieffer interviews Texas Public Radio senior political reporter Ryan Poppe about Democratic presidential candidate and former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Julian Castro. Poppe discusses how Castro ran for Harvard's student body president against his identical twin, Rep. Joaquin Castro, before begining his campiagn for San Antonio City Council. He also talks about Castro's move to launch a free pre-kindergarten program while he was the mayor of San Antonio and how he gained notoriety for his 2012 Democratic National Convention speech.
