The two major political party candidates for U.S. Senate in Iowa will debate on TV Monday night for the first time. Republican U.S. Senator Joni Ernst and her Democratic challenger Theresa Greenfield will square off at 7 on Iowa PBS. Polls have shown the race very close and Democrats see the seat as a possible pickup as they work to gain majority in the Senate this November. The debate can also be heard Monday on Iowa Public Radio’s News and Studio One stations.
