The legislative season is around the halfway mark, where there is a deadline for most bills to pass out of one full committee. Bills with a financial impact are not subject to this “funnel.” On this episode we walk through six bills that passed this funnel week. They are about removing the requirement to have a permit to carry a firearm, mandatory expansion of renewable fuels at gas stations, changing the bottle and redemption law, new penalties for protesters deemed dangerous, removing state tax incentives for technology companies that remove content by elected officials, and giving the state the ability to ignore a presidential executive order.
