January is a great time to make your gardening plans for spring, but if you’re not averse to having a box of worms in your house, there’s something beneficial you could be doing right now. On this edition of Talk of Iowa, host Charity Nebbe talks with guests about vermicomposting, and gets some other composting tips and tricks.

Guests:

  • Aaron Steil, assistant director of Reiman Gardens in Ames
  • Cindy Haynes, associate professor of horticulture at Iowa State University
