It’s horticulture day on Talk of Iowa. Host Charity Nebbe starts the show in the herb garden with horticulturist Cindy Haynes. If you’re lucky, you may be up to your elbows in fresh herbs from your garden. Haynes gives listeners some pointers on how to preserve those fresh flavors to enjoy after the growing season.

Richard Jauron also joins the program to answer questions about gardens and trees.

Guests:

· Cindy Haynes, associate professor of horticulture, Iowa State University

· Richard Jauron, Iowa State University Extension Horticulture Specialist
