The Biden Administration has granted a federal disaster declaration for five counties in northwest Iowa hit by historic flooding. As flooding continues in western Iowa, the northeast corner of the state is bracing for more rain and a rising Mississippi River. In southeast Iowa, the City of Davenport has already deployed temporary barriers and pumps in anticipation for flooding.
