It's Been a Minute with Sam Sanders

"Hey, y'all!"

Sam Sanders is one of public radio’s freshest voices. He’s gone from covering politics as an NPR reporter to hosting his own radio show and podcast, It’s Been a Minute. Each week, he discusses the week’s news and has a deep-dive conversation with a special guest.

"It's been a minute" is another way of saying "let's catch up." On May 9, Sam will do just that with NPR's Sarah McCammon and IPR's Clay Masters. Onstage at Drake University's Sheslow Auditorium, they'll catch up on the news and culture of the week — not just what happened, but how it felt.

The world is complicated and people are, too — sometimes you just need to talk it out. Join us!

Thursday, May 9
7:00 p.m.

Sheslow Auditorium
Drake University
2507 University Avenue, Des Moines

Tickets go on pre-sale to IPR members Tuesday, February 19.
