On this episode of IPR Studio One's "Java Blend," Iowa City's very own Burlington Street Bluegrass Band takes the stage at the Java House in downtown Iowa City with host Ben Kieffer. 

Listen in to hear some of the group's impressive playing, as well as some amusing insight into their 200 years of collective experience playing music. 

The Burlington Street Bluegrass Band performs high energy, family friendly acoustic Americana music, featuring exquisite instrumental solos and thrilling vocal harmonies. In 2004 some of Iowa’s most treasured musicians were brought together by Mike Finders to jam for the sheer joy of playing together. That jam gave birth to The Burlington Street Bluegrass Band, which quickly became one of Iowa City’s local favorites. The group performs an eclectic mix of bluegrass, country, original music, and fiddle tunes
